So, apparently I didn’t have as much material on the other site that I felt I could move over as I had thought. Its amazing how much you aren’t fully willing to display when you know your mom could conceivably visit the site randomly.
So, there are about seven new items in the artwork page; of course located here.
In other news; my 3D modeling is doing well; I’ve got a model built most of the way; only lacking head and hands for the body; though i can’t proudly display it til I’ve made some cloths for it too. I’ve done a good bit of refining, and tuning on it to make the overall quality of my technique better, and though it’s taken so much of my time I haven’t made much lately, once I have it down I should be able to work on some really good projects.
A couple of examples that may interest you;
1: I’m changing the art format for Twilight Blade to use 3D models with cell shaded rendering. My 2D artwork as you have probably been able to tell is lacking and I’ve always been disappointed with how the Twilight Blade comic looks; Cell Shaded 3D models don’t have the tacky look of most 3D webcomics but instead look just like anime art.
2: A new 3D animated and voiced web series. Won’t say much about it; but I’m going to be needing a lot of practice with rigging and animating and I figure since I’ll be animating anyway, might as well animate something good.
I have more ideas bouncing around in my head, but it might seem fruitlessly ambitious to name them all at once given my track record. The fail guys would probably be proud to know I’ve had almost no visits in the last month. Hopefully some of you come back pleasantly surprised or some new people will discover the site as I start to add even better material.
